Two minutes, no credit card. Tell us your child's age and level, and the ChessCubs team reaches out to place them in a group that fits.

Your child learns for 4 free weeks
Two live 45-minute classes a week with the same FIDE-rated coach, in a group of at most six kids matched by age and level. Real lessons from our curriculum, not a sales pitch with a chessboard in it. Parents are welcome to sit in.

Week 4: you get the written report
What your child can do now, and what they'd learn next. Yours to keep either way. If you'd like to continue, classes are $59/month flat, and that is an active choice you make. Nothing renews by itself.

Questions parents ask
“Is it really free?”
Yes. No card is collected at any point, and nothing renews by itself. After week 4, classes continue only if you actively choose to join at $59/month.
“My child has never played chess.”
Perfect. The program starts from the very first move, and most kids in a beginner group are starting exactly there.
“My child already plays.”
This program is built for complete beginners, so kids who already play are grouped separately at their level. That separate group starts as soon as at least four kids of a similar level have signed up -- until then your child is on the waiting list, and we tell you exactly where things stand.
“Do classes fit our schedule?”
Classes run US evenings and weekends. Tell us your availability in the form and we match a group to it.
Prefer to talk first?
Totally fine. Reach us and a human answers. A real person (not a bot) reads every message. We're happy to answer anything, including “is my child too young?” (probably not) and “is my child too old to start?” (definitely not).
